TENZ donates to WEiL

Instead of sending Christmas cards, screw manufacturer TENZ is donating to a charitable cause.

With the provocative slogan “Christmas is canceled!” we were able to draw attention to our donation campaign.

The goal was to do good together with our customers during these challenging times. This was achieved by conducting a survey in mid-November, where each customer could decide: For every Christmas card not printed, TENZ would donate €5 to a charitable cause.

The feedback from our customers was overwhelming, as the desire for meaningful and resource-saving actions is particularly strong this year.

The great feedback motivated us to double the amount saved by our customers, resulting in a total of €1,860 available for the charitable cause.

Donation to “WEIL – Weiter im Leben” – Free support for young people at risk of suicide

For many, the holidays are a very difficult time – for some, they are even unbearable, and the challenges people face have been further exacerbated by the crisis. The psychological impacts of the crisis, particularly on young people, are largely overlooked in public discourse.

Therefore, the donation is going to the aid organization WEIL. There, young people at risk of suicide receive free support.

to WEIL – Weiter im Leben

The aid organization offers free support for young people at risk of suicide.

WEIL stands for “Weiter im Leben” (Moving Forward in Life). The organization has been working for many years in suicide prevention for young people up to the age of 25, as well as their relatives and friends. All of WEIL’s services are free of charge and can be accessed anonymously. The staff are trained in psychosocial fields, work on a voluntary basis, and are bound by confidentiality.

WEIL gives lectures in schools and adult education institutions and conducts peer group education. Since 2013, online counseling for young people has also been offered.

Together, young people are supported in finding a new perspective during this difficult time.
