In March, our company reached another milestone. The innovative TENZ Low Energy thread was awarded the Red Dot Award Product Design. This award is given by the renowned jury exclusively to products that exhibit outstanding design. The submission of the screw itself to this globally respected design award was a risk. Certainly nobody expects such a product at this competition. Moreover, our screw had to compete alongside large and established brands, including McLaren, Apple or LG. The jury of 40 international experts evaluated all submissions according to the following criteria:

• Degree of innovation
• functionality
• formal quality
• Durability
• Ergonomics

Out of around 5,500 participants, our screw came out on top. It was selected as the winner on the following grounds: “Environmentally friendly and future-oriented, the innovatively designed TENZ Low-Energy-Screw is a consistent implementation of the desire for a resource-saving wood screw.”   This adds another award to our list.
